2012 Marked a decade of teaching for the award winning choreographer and entrepreneur of Jade’s hip Hop Academy (JHHA). Jade was the first to establish an all Hip Hop and street dance based studio in Brampton, which is still one of the few of its kind in Canada. She has successfully led JHHA to change the game in the competitive studio circuit, establishing a standard for hip hop dance and educating others about the differences between the commercialized hip hop from the music videos and the authentic forms of the Art.
In her fifth year of work with JHHA, the City of Brampton and various arts, business communities and organizations throughout the GTA, Toronto and the Province began recognizing Jade for her ground breaking work in addition to her selfless commitment to the development of youth in her community and beyond. Her structures, principles, values, ethics and practices have proven successful and she passes on all of these qualities and practices to her staff who she has worked with for many years and know the ins and out of the JHHA mission and vision. For a more detailed version of Jade’s History visits “Jade’s Bio”.
