
Lots of Fun – Lots of Dance
Does your child love to dance? Are they dancing along with hit TV shows such as So You Think You Can Dance and Randy Jackson presents America’s Best Dance Crew? Do they want to learn how to pop, lock, break, krump and perform?
Jade’s Hip Hop Academy Summer Camps include daily instruction in Hip Hop, Popping, Breakin, Locking and Krump. Dancers will work hard learning and conquering different skills and choreography. On top of that they will be taught the art of performance as everything they learn in camp will be showcased in a routine at the end of the week for family and friends!
Food and Drinks: Dancers must bring their own lunches, drinks and
snacks. All food and snacks must be NUT FREE. Juice and Water can also be purchased at the studio for $.25 and$.50 cents.
Attire: Dancers must wear comfortable appropriate clothing (no jeans or revealing clothing) and have a clean set of indoor shoes.
Cost: The summer camps cost $160 + HST

Beginner/Intermediate: Will learn the basic foundations of hip hop dance and all its elements; popping, locking, breakin and krump. Perfect for dancers with very little to no dance background or no background in Hip Hop and its elements. All dancers receive a certificate upon completion of the camp.

re-Comp: Are for
those dancers looking to enter the pre-competitive level at Jade’s Hip Hop Academy. Camps include further skill development in popping, locking, breakin and krump, emphasis on sharper completion of movements, better performance technique and learning more intricate choreography. The entire week of camp is considered an audition where a dancer’s work ethic, behavior, attitude and response to corrections is also taken into account. At the end of the camp dancers are notified if they made into our pre-cmp program.
Advance: Is for
Pre-competitive level dancers who want to advance to the competitive level. They will work on completion and perfection of techniques, learn to pick up choreography at a faster pace, work on commanding stage presence and catch up on skills our competitive dancers have already obtained so that they can join the competitive in the fall. The entire week of camp is considered an audition where a dancer’s work ethic, behavior, attitude and ability to apply corrections at a quick pace are taken into account. At the end of the camp dancers are notified if they made it into our competitive program.
